Hales Home Care Release “How Are We Doing” Survey Results

16 July

Hales Home Care has reported “overwhelmingly positive” feedback from staff and service users over its handling of the COVID-19 crisis.

The provider opened the ‘How Are We Doing’ survey to gain a better understanding of how care teams and clients felt the organisation had responded to the pandemic, how safe they felt and how relevant the support was that they were given.

It found that most (94.1%) of service users felt they received appropriate support from the care team to adapt to COVID-19 restrictions, while 95.7% of service users felt “generally safe” during the height of the crisis.

Nearly all (97.9%) care staff said that it was easy to access all the necessary PPE they needed to perform their role safely and 92.6% of care workers and staff felt safe and secure while performing their roles.

Jeffrey G Fowler, Chairman of the Hales Group, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the feedback we received from our recent survey. It is encouraging to see the positive comments for all the work our colleagues are doing during these unprecedented times and that overwhelmingly both staff and care users feel safe and well supported.

We will continue to listen to our staff teams, our service users and their families. We will review and where necessary, modify processes to meet the challenges that we all still face together.
