Super Care Workers Recognised in Scunthorpe

17 June

This month, we recognised two care workers from our Scunthorpe branch for being nominated for the Hales Heroes award and as a sign of appreciation to their commitment to their work.

Sarah Goodhand was awarded a Hales Heroes Certificate and £1,000 for winning the Hales Heroes May Draw.

Karen Mummery, Hales Care Scunthorpe Branch Manager said: “Sarah is a Senior Care Worker in Scunthorpe – a true Hales Hero that goes above and beyond for her service users. Sarah covers all areas within our Branch across North Lincolnshire and is often requested by family members to attend their loved one’s calls.”

Carol Jacobi, who has been nominated for the Hales Heroes award six months in a row, was awarded the Hales Hero Gold badge, a Gold Hales Heroes Certificate and a cinema voucher.

Karen said: “Our first Hales Heroes Gold winner in Scunthorpe couldn’t have been awarded to a more caring, hardworking dedicated member of the team. Carol bikes to her calls in all weathers, and has a fantastic relationship with her service users.”
